The Alwoodley Primary School Mini Bounce Club sessions are an open session for children (Boys and Girls) in Years 3 & 4 that attend Alwoodley Primary. With our coaches focused on creating a fun environment where the aspects of fundamental movement are blended with activities and games with the core skills of basketball as a focus. The key areas of shooting, dribbling, passing and footwork are developed, with the children getting the opportunity to apply these skills in games. The session runs from 15:15-16:15 every Friday over the Half term and is divided in to 3 segments focusing on skill development, small sided games and match play. Sessions are up-tempo, exciting and fun with a view to instilling a passion for the sport. There are currently 20 places per week available on termly subscription options. Children who excel and are identified as talented in these sessions, will be invited to our U10s session at COLBC and the start of our Junior National League pathway.
